Update!

Since my last post in June, a number of exciting things have happened!

During June, The Coostie Folk had a gig every weekend! As well as this, I ran sound and Production Managed Berwickshire High School's 'We Will Rock You!' which was immense fun! Used a PreSonus StudioLive 24.4.2 board, 16x JTS radio mics and 1x PZM.

My first weekend off from band antics, it was up to Kirkcaldy for Fife Pride. Notable acts included Oskar Braves, Amy Lou and the Monday Club and Stevie McCrory. This was a great fun day out, only partially dampened by a parking ticket!

After a wee holiday to Venice, it was straight back in at the deep end for a wedding with The Coostie Folk in Alnwick Gardens (another fun day!). The day after this wedding I went and purchased some new speakers - exciting stuff! (2x JBL JRX115 and 2x Yamaha SM10V. A new amp has been bought to complement, a Behringer NX4-6000!) The weekend after this, it was time for another Coostie Folk gig - another wedding, this time at Paxton House! Another great day out!

A few weeks off in August was brought to an abrupt halt with a wedding in Berwick-Upon-Tweed, for which I was on 'The DJ Station'. An interesting experience but fun nonetheless! The day after this, it was time for the final Coostie Folk gig of the summer, celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Whitsome Ark!

The following weekend, I received a phone call from Andrew Sinclair, one of my Uni friends, asking me t go and help with sound for the AUOB march in Perth (I do not support this body!). Another interesting day!

On Friday the 13th September, Just Suppose's new single 'Shockwaves' was released. I master this for JS and we are all very happy with how it turned out. I have since organised to go to Huddersfield and record a 5 track EP with JS for my BSc2 Creative Project! The day after this, I had the pleasure of depping for Ragin' Ceilidh Band. Playing alongside Cavan is always a fun time1

The next big gig for me is Saturday 12th October, working for the Fatherson boys as they headline Tenement Trail Festival at the Barrowland Ballroom, Glasgow. Very excited for this one! Keep your eyes peeled over on Instagram for updates!
